Dave Simpson.

Dave was born in 1966 in Nakuru, Kenya, into a family who had been farming in the Solai Valley since 1912.

In 1972 his family moved to South Africa where he was educated, finishing with a Mechanical Engineering Diploma. Dave returned to Kenya in 1990 to pursue his true passions; camping, travel and photography.

In the years which followed, Dave worked for various safari operators and led safaris from Kenya to Zimbabwe and safaris around Lake Victoria, including Northern Tanzania and the Mountain Gorillas in Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda. During this time Dave has had an opportunity to develop his photographic skills and he is now recognized as an award-winning photographer.

He is always wiling to exchange ideas with guests on safari and offer any advice where appropriate to help guests get the most out of their cameras.
