Wildlife Photographer

Malcolm is a full-time wildlife photographer who has had a lifelong interest in all aspects of natural history. Originally from Yorkshire and now based locally, he is a trained biological scientist with a special interest in ecology and conservation. He
now travels the world photographing all types of wildlife, from tiny insects in the desert to the great blue whale in the oceans and penguins in the snow. Malcolm has visited all seven continents, including Antarctica, and continues to explore new and innovative ways of capturing wildlife images.

His photographs have received several awards, from the Royal Photographic Society, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and others, and have been published in a wide range of books and magazines worldwide. He is represented by several photographic agencies in the UK.

Based in Oxfordshire, Malcolm is currently working on a large-format photographic book about Swans, and a project to capture images of insects in flight using high speed flash. Malcolm is also an accomplished underwater photographer, having taken pictures of a variety of marine life, including his favourite, the Great White Shark.
